Educating for Health: Summative Suggested Essay Outline
Develop a teaching plan for a chosen group, and chosen setting, and demonstrate your understanding of health education, using contemporary sources of evidence. Discuss the teaching approach you have used in relation to health literacy, theories of learning and communication, and how you would evaluate your teaching plan. (2500 words, reference list is separate and does not count towards the word limit) Main essay: Discusses how and why you developed the teaching plan in the way that you did using key concepts and theories. Appendix: Detailed teaching plan that you have developed for a chosen group. |

NOTE: 1. Remember your detailed teaching plan needs to be presented in an appendix (see essay template). 2. Cite Them Right Harvard citing and referencing is very important, poor referencing will affect your mark. 3. Stick to the word limit, a few extra 10-20 words is okay. |
